What to bring for Thanksgiving? Ideas!

Hello hello! November is in full swing here and we are quickly approaching holiday season. I know this year might look really different for a lot of people in terms of celebrations and traditions. I wanted to give you some ideas of things you could bring if you are attending a holiday meal!

I've brought pumpkin bread to Thanksgiving dinners for the last few years and it has always been a hit! This is my favorite recipe. It's such a simple idea but I feel like it often gets overlooked for Thanksgiving. But, it is so well-loved! Always a crowd pleaser.

A green salad is always a great choice! I feel like it's one of those things that is simple enough to put together, but really helps take something off the host's to-do list. There are so many good seasonal options too! This Harvest Salad looks so gorgeous and hearty. This Blueberry Salad would be awesome with pears subbed in to make it more seasonal. But salads can be pretty simple too! You can't go wrong with spring mix + crumbly cheese + toasted nuts + seasonal fruit + onion family vegetable and a balsamic dressing. Create your own adventure!

Another option would be to bring one your family's classic recipes! This could be a nice way to share your favorite food memories with those you are celebrating with.

Dessert! Something other than pumpkin pie, haha. I am personally not a pumpkin pie person, so I love to have something else sweet on Thanksgiving. This apple cider donut cake looks amazing!! I think my family would love it.

And, of course, the best thing to do is check with the host! What would help them out? Could you pick up dinner rolls or cute napkins? Let me know in the comments what you like to bring to a holiday meal!
