Weekend Review - Vol. 49

December 4-5, 2021 

In a surprise twist, I'm back baby! Ha.

Thursday we went to a James Taylor/Jackson Browne concert. It was amazing!! James Taylor was funny. They both sounded great! We also had dinner at Mader's beforehand. Their potatoes pancakes were the best I've ever eaten!

Friday we went to Christmas in the Ward - part tree-lighting, part reindeer-seeing, part hot chocolate-drinking event. 

Saturday morning we went to a new park in Brookfield. We took a little hike and then went into their off-leash dog area. Millie LOVED it. 

Saturday night we went to St. Paul Fish Company (the full location) in Mequon. It was so good! We've been to the Milwaukee Public Market location and loved it, but this location had a bigger menu and everything was incredible. Afterwards we went to a concert with my parents!

Sunday, Dan ran a Santa 5K! Luckily he beat the bad weather. We had a little coffee cake courtesy of my mom!

Then I spent the rest of the day making some cookies for holiday cookie boxes (see my IG stories). It was a perfect activity for a crappy weather day!
