Weekend Review - Vol. 5

1.30-1.31

Hello snow snow snow!!! We got loads of it this weekend!! It started on Saturday and just kept going! So we had a mostly indoor weekend. Which was okay :)

On Friday we walked some dogs at the humane society. It was so fun to get out with the dogs! It was pretty busy so we did a lot of walking. It was also snowing a little bit!

I had a chocolate chip cookie making marathon this weekend! Well, maybe not marathon. But I wanted to try out two different kinds!

I made these Tahini Chocolate Chip cookies from David Lebovitz and they were sooo good!! Totally worth it. If you like a more salty/savory cookie I would highly highly recommend. You do have to wait for the dough to chill overnight (the hardest part!). I also baked mine on the shorter end of the recommended time to keep them soft. And I did a mix of chocolate chips and chocolate chunks! With lots and lots of flaky salt on top.

I also made these chocolate chip cookies with pudding mix in them! I got the recipe from Kim Wads on YouTube. I found the recipe on her Instagram, linked here. They were yummy! Very vanilla-y flavor (no surprise! Haha) and super soft.

I think I slightly prefer the tahini chocolate chip cookies, because I just love salty cookies. But both recipes are great!! I made some tacos for dinner on Saturday night.

And then, all of the snow on Sunday!

On Sunday we did some stuff around the house. Laundry, cleaning.....ya know! Real life takes work. We played Among Us virtually with a group of friends on Sunday night! Definitely a highlight of our week, every week.

How was your weekend?
